Racialization of Poverty

Racialization of poverty is the idea that visible minorities and Indigenous people in Canada experience poverty at greater rates due to structural factors related to race in society. Racialized populations are overrepresented in poverty population statistics, and barriers faced by these populations are unique and intersectional. This section highlights these experiences further.
